Definition:
"In a micro computer,like a pc,phone,tablet or laptop,the main processor is a microprocessor.The processor performs arithmetic operation and carry out simple logical operations.
Functions:
These are:
01.The processor first fetchs(bring) an instruction from the main memory.

02.The instruction is then decoded to determine what action is required to be done.

03.Data from main main memory or I/O module.

04.The instruction is then executed.

05.In addition to execution,CPU also supervise and control I/O devices.If there is any request from I/O devices,is called interrupt.

06.Writing data to memory or an I/O module.
